sitrep is a free news index for defence and tech. by using it you agree to the points below. they are deliberately short.

what sitrep is

sitrep aggregates headlines, short feed summaries, thumbnails, timestamps, and links from public rss and atom feeds. it groups items that cover the same story and ranks them by how widely and how quickly they were picked up. it does not host article text, and it is not the original publisher of any story shown here.

attribution and copyright

headlines and summaries remain the property of their publishers and are shown under the standard aggregator model: a headline, a short snippet, and a link back to the source. every coverage link points to the publisher, with tracking parameters removed and the destination left unchanged.

takedowns and corrections

if you operate a feed that sitrep polls and you want your content removed or a correction made, email benjnib09@gmail.com. requests are handled promptly.

no warranty

sitrep is provided as is, with no warranty. clustering and ranking are automated arithmetic over feed metadata and can be wrong: a story may be grouped oddly, ranked too high, or missed entirely. always read the original source before relying on anything here.
